Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

This Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy explains how Tessan LLC handles "consumer health data," as that term is defined by Washington's My Health My Data Act (MHMDA) and similar laws such as Nevada's SB 370. It supplements our general Privacy Policy.
Do we collect consumer health data?
tessanhealth.com is a marketing and informational website. It does not host a patient portal, a booking system, or any place to enter symptoms, diagnoses, or medical history. We do not knowingly collect consumer health data through this site.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity only after you consent, to understand general site usage. To avoid tying any browsing to a health condition, we block all analytics and advertising trackers on articles about a specific health condition.
- Pharmacy form. The form on For Pharmaciescollects business contact information from pharmacy owners (pharmacy name, contact name, work email, state, and phone). That is business contact data, not health data.
- Email. If you email us, we receive whatever you choose to include, and use it only to reply.
If any data is treated as consumer health data
- We do not sell consumer health data.
- We do not share consumer health data for advertising, and we run no advertising or remarketing on this site.
- We would collect or share consumer health data only with your consent, and only for the purpose you agreed to.
Your rights
Under MHMDA and similar laws, you can:
- confirm whether we collect, share, or sell your consumer health data, and access that data;
- have your consumer health data deleted;
- withdraw consent to its collection or sharing.
To exercise these rights, email us at partnerships@tessan.io, or use Manage cookie preferences on Your Privacy Choices to withdraw analytics consent. We'll confirm your request and respond. If we deny a request, you can appeal by replying to our response.
Your exact rights depend on your state. Washington's law can be enforced by residents directly; Nevada's is enforced only by the state attorney general and defines consumer health data more narrowly.
